Panama Holidays
One of the world’s greatest crossroads, a holiday to Panama has so much to offer from white sandy beaches, expansive rainforest and one of the world’s engineering marvels, the Panama Canal. Learn the history of the Panama Canal before doing a crossing of the canal and combine this with snorkelling or diving in crystal clear waters and beautiful coral reefs for an unforgettable holiday. Panama City Panama City is a modern city and very popular for shopping with good nightlife. Enjoy spectacular views of the city from the hilltop of the Parque Natural Metropolitano. There are plenty of day trips available from the city including trips to the islands in the bay and of course a trip to the Panama Canal. The Parque Nacional Soberania is home to many animals and is only 30 minutes from Panama City.
Bocas del Toro The Bocas Islands offers all forms of water sports along with rainforest and white sand beaches. The coral reef offers wonderful opportunities for snorkelers and scuba divers. Wildlife on the islands includes tropical birds, butterflies and red, yellow and orange frogs. Some of the main places to visit on the islands is the National Marine Park and Red Frog Beach.
No Frontiers
BeaconSouthAmerica sent the "No Frontiers" crew to Panama a number of years ago, folow the link to watch the episode and read how they got on. |
