Beacon South America is an online division of Shandon Travel Group www.shandontravel.ie established in 1974.
Recognising the need for Irish travellers to do something different
and to be somewhere different we are delighted to bring you
Mexico, Central and South America from Ireland.
Covering a vast expanse of the earth's surface, from north of the equator to
striking distance of Antarctica and the South Pole. South America contains the
world's greatest river, longest mountain range, highest active volcanoes and
tallest waterfalls. Straddling both hemispheres, when it's winter at one end,
its summer at the other. You can find almost any kind of landscape here from
steamy rainforests to arid desert, from ski slopes to tropical beaches, from
European-style capitals to primitive tribal villages.
